All Knowledge Is Useless Without “Desire”

We can read all the books on Empowerment, Leadership or Spirituality but without “Desire” it is useless. We get overloaded with information and Wisdom and our windows to the world crash. We end up going nowhere.

The road to nowhere exhausts our brain and our mind.

First things firsts and that is we must enter into our heart and find out what we really want now and for the rest of our life.

For the next few weeks we will discuss, DESIRE.

Want and Desire are the two horses that drives the chariot of our life.

Want and Desire are not the same thing. They have two different roles. Like want is a lack and desire is the fulfillment of the lack. We do have a tendency to mix them together and end up having no desire and or some of us postpone the work of finding out what is our desire. We live out our life fulfilling other peoples Desire.

For today I will leave you here and ask you to contemplate on what is your Want, that is what do you lack, and make a list of it. As the wise say do not rely upon memory. It is wise to write down what do we lack.

Just know, some of us have become so used to our lack;  we have learned to live with it and our lack has stopped hurting us.

We must revisit the cause of our lack and how we handled it.

This is real work. Mental work is as laborious as chopping firewood. We must contemplate all week on, ”what do I lack,” and the secret is not to  try to fill the lack right yet. We must dwell in the lack that we have suffered through and think why we did not take steps to fulfill the lack. Next week we will continue with our formulation of DESIRE.
